Tyler MacEachran, MPA

Tyler MacEachran has a well-rounded background, which began as a social worker in inner city Detroit. There, he witnessed extreme systemic issues and failed public policies and their profound impact on families. This led him to pursue his Master of Public Administration degree to combat problems on a broader scale.

Armed with his MPA, Tyler led several nonprofit organizations through significant positive transformations, revenue growth, and increased impact over a period of more than twenty years. Highlights have included raising $75M for annual campaigns during the pandemic, and achieving rare 7-figure gifts from individual, corporate, and foundation sources. Tyler has intentionally sought out the most challenging of nonprofit roles, including launching new nonprofits and reinventing existing nonprofits that were struggling.

When asked “So why lead Pro-Truth Pledge?”, he responded:

‌“Because I love my country and the freedoms we are blessed with. I have four children that I want to be able to enjoy those freedoms. I understand that the key to a healthy democracy is an accurately informed and engaged citizenry. And in my lifetime, America has never faced so much misinformation, profound bias, and deliberate, manipulative lies from public figures and the media as we see today. Democracy is under attack from within, and I believe the Pro-Truth Pledge can seed a movement to save it. I am looking forward to being a leader who helps bring back the polite discussion of facts and a genuine movement towards consensus and problem-solving for issues and policies that impact us all.”

When not engaged in leading nonprofit organizations, Tyler is an avid reader and gardener who enjoys deepening his Christian faith and spending quality time with his wife, children, and their big personality pets.

Dr. Gleb Tsipursky is the CEO of Disaster Avoidance Experts, where he empowers leaders and organizations to avoid business disasters through consulting, coaching, and speaking. Gleb serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Intentional Insights, and co-founded the Pro-Truth Pledge. A behavioral science expert with over 15 years in academia, including 7 as a professor at Ohio State University, Gleb authored the best-selling book The Truth-Seeker’s Handbook: A Science-Based Guide, and over 400 articles in venues like Time, Scientific American, Newsweek, Fast Company, Inc. Magazine, NPR, CBS News, Psychology Today, The Conversation, and CNBC.

Agnes Vishnevkin, MBA

Agnes and her husband, Gleb Tsipursky, launched Intentional Insights in 2014 as a resource for people who want to learn science-based strategies to improve their lives and communities. Agnes holds an MBA in Nonprofit Management from Brandeis University and has more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including operations, fundraising, grantmaking, strategic planning, and social enterprise.

Alexandra Leigon

Board Member

A former NYC theatrical professional and fundraising executive, Alexandra retired from UCLA in 2011 after a 25-year career in critical care nursing. As the Founder and CEO of The Moebius Fund, a private personal service organization, she provides one-to-one mentoring to individuals who are engaged in the process of transforming their lives. She has a special interest in assisting individuals who are in addiction recovery and their families. Chief among the concepts that promote self-empowerment is the promotion of truth-telling and honesty, to oneself as well as to others. Raising awareness of the Pro-Truth Pledge and engaging others in supporting it brings together all of her abilities and experiences, and directs them towards achieving goals that have been at the core of her professional and personal life work.

Felicia Winfree Cravens

Felicia Winfree Cravens promotes truth via her Unfakery Facebook page, which she started in 2017 in order to help conservatives learn better how to avoid fakery that was targeted at them. As a twenty-year veteran of Texas Republican politics and conservative activism, she feels her credentials might help reach people on the right where other sources might be dismissed.

She founded the Houston Tea Party Society in 2009, and spent much of her time developing training resources, helping people new to politics become involved and effective. Her frequent media appearances gave her a crash course in messaging and media relations as well. A political blogger for over ten years on various platforms, she has focused chiefly on conservative messaging and media accountability. Felicia is also a seventh-generation Texan, and mentions it to the point of being obnoxious.

Stephan Lewandowsky

Professor Stephan Lewandowsky is a cognitive scientist at the University of Bristol in the UK. His research examines people’s memory, decision making, and knowledge structures, with a particular emphasis on how people update information in memory. His most recent research interests examine the potential conflict between human cognition and the physics of the global climate, which has led him into research in climate science and climate modeling.

He has published more than 200 scholarly articles, chapters, and books, including numerous papers on how people respond to corrections of misinformation and what variables determine people’s acceptance of scientific findings. Professor Lewandowsky has contributed around 50 opinion pieces to the global media on issues related to climate change “skepticism” and the coverage of science in the media.

Michael Tyler

Michael Tyler is an experienced executive, adviser, and board member. He has over 35 years of experience in transactional and technology business, including network industries and financial services in North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. He helped lead major infrastructure projects, including worldwide HBO television distribution by satellite and the Southern Cross undersea cable network, and secure over $12 billion of structured finance for a variety of cellular, electric power, and transportation projects. Michael has volunteered his time to international relations, housing for vulnerable individuals, and progressive politics.

Lorenzo T. Neal

Lorenzo T. Neal is the senior pastor of the New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Jackson, MS. In ministry for over 25 years, he is an author and host of Zera Today with Pastor Lorenzo Neal radio show. He is a member of a number of fraternal, political, and social organizations. Brad Blanton

Brad Blanton is a psychotherapist, author, workshop leader, speaker, and the founder of Radical Honesty Enterprises.

His first book, Radical Honesty: How To Transform Your Life By Telling The Truth, became a nationwide best seller in 1996 and has been translated into twelve languages and published around the world.

His second book, Practicing Radical Honesty: How to Complete the Past, Live in the Present and Build a Future with A Little Help From Your Friends, is about the relationship between personal transformation and social transformation.

In 2002, consistent with that same theme, he published Honest to God: A Change of Heart that Can Change the World (with Neale Donald Walsch). Also in 2002, he published Radical Parenting: Seven Steps to a Functional Family in a Dysfunctional World.

Rick Shenkman

Rick Shenkman is a writer, historian, producer, journalist and college lecturer; for several years he was the managing editor of KIROTV News, the CBS affiliate in Seattle, Washington. He was the co-founder of TomPaine.com, an Internet journal of opinion established in 1998. His books have been translated into Spanish, Japanese, Turkish and Korean. Excerpts have appeared in college textbooks used in English classes across the country. Three of his books have been selections of the Book of the Month Club and the Paperback Book Club.

Fifteen years ago he founded the History News Network. The website, which draws a million page views a month, features op eds by historians commenting on current events.

Mr. Shenkman has appeared numerous times on national television shows including the Today Show and Prime Time Live. In the early 1990s he was a regular contributor to the Sunday Today Show. He currently is regularly seen on Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.

In 1996-97 he hosted his own prime time 13-part television series on The Learning Channel. The show, “Myth America,” featured interviews with the country’s top historians including Carl Degler, Henry Graff, and James Thomas Flexner. Mr. Shenkman wrote and produced the show, which was inspired by three of his books.

Tim Ward

Tim Ward is  an author, publisher, teacher, and traveler. He co-authored Pro Truth: A Practical Plan for Putting Truth Back Into Politics together with Gleb Tsipursky and serves as a Board Member of Intentional Insights. Tim’s also wrote five books about his travels through Thailand, India, China, Tibet, Greece and Southern Europe, and most recently East Africa. His stories have appeared in 13 anthologies, including Traveler’s Tales Best Travel Writing 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Tim is also the publisher of Changemakers Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing, dedicated to books on personal and global transformation. Together with John Hunt, Tim wrote The Author’s Guide to Publishing and Marketing, a book to help new authors succeed. Tim also co-owns a global training business, Intermedia Communications Training, with his wife and business partner, Teresa Erickson. They teach scientists, economists and development experts how to communicate effectively. They live in, Bethesda, Maryland, where Tim spends his spare time kayaking in the Potomac and planning his next mountain trek.
