I signed the pledge because honesty is the only true way to learn the views of a candidate on issues that affect the people. The people of a community are bombarded with so many hateful lies against a candidate, paid for by groups with well-financed agendas, that they can hardly see the truth. In addition to candidates, elected officials, and individuals taking this pledge, I challenge all PACs, Unions, and Special Interest Groups to stand up and proclaim their pledge to the truth as well.
