I signed the Pro-Truth Pledge because I am convinced that the lies and misinformation currently circulating in our society are degrading our character and damaging our democracy. As lies are revealed, t faith in government and other institutions is eroded. Trust is absolutely necessary for the cohesion of any social order, and that trust is destroyed by dishonesty.
